Author Dick Bolles of the 10 million copy best-seller What Color Is Your Parachute was happy to share a moment with JobLingo Founder, Dr Jan McCormick, at the 2014 National Career Development (NCDA) Conference in Long Beach, CA.
NOTE TO SELF: When you find a good horse, ride it. Certainly Dick Bolles found his horse in 1972 and 42 years later still brings new and clever perspective to every lecture. Funny, insightful, candid and giving, Mr. Bolles stands tall and strong as an iconic hero among job coaches, counselors and advisers. I liked his energy and enthusiasm for his craft and appreciation for his followers (he was very generous in providing additional information for attending his lecture). He certainly met my three criteria for a stand-out presenter: Inform, Inspire and Empower. And when you’re 87 and still writing and sharing your wisdom and gifts–you have my respect and admiration. Thank you Dick for crossing my path and reminding me to stay on my horse!
